Swedish artist Cecilia Heisser from Stockholm investigates in a poetic way on time, memory and death with the historical sense. Her latest project has developed since 1993 and draws on the last years of her grandfather Wolfram Heisser’s life in the period of World War II. Through her text, photographs and video, not only one can experience a personal history of an old man, but also sense how the grand history is constructed by narrations even that might have been distorted.
