Clara Cheung

Clara Cheung is a curator and artist based in Hong Kong. She founded C&G Apart-ment with Gum Cheng in 2007.  She graduated at Rhode College (TN, USA) with dou-ble majors in Fine Art and Computer Science in 2002.  Clara Cheung studied for Post-graduate Diploma in Education at the Chinese University of Hong Kong afterwards, and received a master degree of Cultural Studies at Lingnan University. She has been an art teacher (panel head) at a local school during 2003-07, is an active member of the non-profit art group, Project226. She has had numerous exhibitions in Hong Kong and overseas.

Luke Chin Wai Ching

Ching received his MA degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He sees himself as a spontaneous observer of the city. He deconstructs the city, observes it, and then rebuilds something, which is in between the real life city and conceptual city, through his artwork.

Jims Lam Chi Hang

Lam received his BA degree in Visual Art at the Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University in 2011. Lam has participated in many exhibitions both locally and internationally including LOUD: Mapping the Aesthetics of Visual Silence, Kassel in 2011; 80: AVA Graduation Exhibition 2011 and Art Medley at State-of-the-Art Gallery, Hong Kong in 2011. In 2013, he was awarded the prestigious Hong Kong Art Prize.

Lam Tung Pang

Lam received his MA at Central St. Martins College of Art, London and has been awarded numerous scholarships and awards, including Arts Scholarship from Hong Kong Arts Development Council (2003) and Hong Kong Contemporary Art Biennial Awards (2009). His works are mostly related to specific situations or causal contents and some of them are monumental in scale. He has exhibited extensively interna-tionally and his work is found in many private and public collections, including Deutsche Bank, Hong Kong Museum of Art, and the Hong Kong Legislative Council.

South Ho

Ho graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and received his Higher Diplo-ma in Social Work in 2006. Ho has worked for various magazines (as editor and pho-tographer), and participated in photography exhibitions actively since 2007. In 2008, he took part in the “Imaging Hong Kong Contemporary Photography Exhibition,” a major photography exhibition in Hong Kong. His photographic series Into Light was awarded in the Hong Kong Contemporary Art Biennial Awards 2009. Currently, he is a member of the photographic organization The Photocrafters.

Tang Kwok Hin

Tang is a mixed media artist, independent curator, and writer. He received his MFA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2008. His work focuses on occasions, space, time, and ways of encountering symbols to explore hidden rules of living and existing within a context of self-expression. He previously participated in the 15th WRO Media Art Biennale, was awarded the first prize at the Hong Kong Biennale in 2009 and the Young Artist Award by Hong Kong Arts Development in 2010 and re-ceived an Asian Cultural Council Grant in 2013.

Featuring new works by 12 artists living in Hong Kong (Oscar Chan Yik Long, Cheng Ting Ting, Luke Ching, Mark Chung, Chris Huen Sin Kan, Lam Hoi Sin, Lau Wai, Ng Ka Chun, Ea-son Tsang Ka Wai, Tang Kwok Hin, Morgan Wong, Elvis Yip Kin Bon), the exhibition curated by Jims Lam Chi Hang, is the first in a new series of exhibitions working with emerging Hong Kong curators.
