Renata Salecl (b. 1962, Slovenia) is senior researcher at the Institute of Criminology at the Faculty of Law, Ljubljana, Slovenia. She is also professor at the School of Law, Birkbeck College, University of London and recurring visiting Professor at Cardozo School of Law. Her books include: The Spoils of Freedom: Psychoanalysis and Feminism After the Fall of Socialism, (Per)versions of Love and Hate, On Anxiety, and The Tyranny of Choice. Her books have been translated into ten languages. In Chinese language, the translation includes (Per)version of Love and Hate, as well as Tyranny of Choice. Renata Salecl also writes on contemporary art and is one the board of the museum of modern and contemporary art in Ljubljana.
