Para Site藝術空間隆重推出2017年國際研討會,今年的主題我們希望退一步來重新省思藝術的本體價值是如何與社會的進程發生抵觸,尤其在面對今日政治局勢的變化之時,極右派民粹主義猖獗及全球法西斯政權的崛起,藝術能否於此擔負起捍衛的責任,或幫助重新想像一個正在遭受拆解的新的社會關係?我們是否能記取歷史教訓並進行修正?或是長久以來,我們早已蒙蔽了自身的真正能力?而如果真如此,是否仍有空間讓我們在此錯覺中繼續行走?又或著,我們能召喚怎樣的機制流動及語言敘事以發揮我們最大的潛能?為期三天的國際研討會將邀請來自世界各地的藝術文化工作者,齊聚一堂共同思辨並探討其可能性。
本年度國際研討會由周安曼及康喆明共同發起。
